Keep Your Competencies Current
Industry standards and most principal contractors require chainsaw and chipper competencies to be renewed every three years. Lemke Timber Training offers refresher assessments for existing competency holders throughout the ACT and Southern NSW.

Practical reassessment in ACT & Southern NSW
Why Renew Every Three Years?
Industry Standard
Electrical service companies and large arboricultural contractors routinely require evidence of refreshed competencies for workers operating chainsaws and chippers on their worksites.
Insurer Requirements
Many workers' compensation insurers now require evidence of current training — and may charge higher premiums or decline claims where workers lack it.
WHS Obligations
Under the Work Health and Safety Act, employers must ensure workers are competent for the hazardous tasks they perform. Refresher training demonstrates ongoing due diligence.
